The Vaulted Cellar sits at Klosterhof 6D in the heart of St. Gallen’s UNESCO‑listed Abbey district. It forms one of three exhibition spaces that together make up the “Entire Abbey” experience, linked to the historic Abbey Library complex that has shaped the city’s cultural identity for centuries.

The cellar welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the last admission at 4:45 pm. During the autumn months (1 August – 31 October 2025) the adjacent Baroque Hall extends its hours to 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. Guided tours are available on request Monday‑Friday from 9:00 am; you can arrange a visit by calling +41 71 227 34 19.

Entry is covered by the combined “Entire Abbey” ticket, priced at CHF 18 for adults and CHF 12 for students or apprentices. Groups of ten or more receive a reduced rate, and children under 16 enter free with a parent. Holders of Swiss Museum Pass, Swiss Travel Pass, St. Gallen Museum Card, and several regional cards also enjoy free admission. An audio guide costs an extra CHF 5.

All exhibition areas, including the Vaulted Cellar, are wheelchair‑accessible, and a wheelchair can be borrowed on site. For ticket inquiries, call +41 712 273 416.
